Bangladesh won by 90 runs against Sri Lanka

BANGLADESH WIN! Their brilliant tour of Sri Lanka continues as they pick up a clinical 90-run win over the hosts. An all-round effort comes to fruition as they take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, as Sri Lanka slipped to their sixth consecutive loss.

It started off with Tamim Iqbal's brilliant century, along with fifties from Shakib and Sabbir Rahman that gave Bangladesh 325 to defend. Mustafizur, Mortaza and Hasan chipped in to help bowl out Sri Lanka for 234. However, massive credit to Thisara Perera for that fighting knock of 55 off just 35. But it wasn't good enough on the night.

Bangladesh are a different unit and have showcased how good a one-day side they are once again. This is also the first time that they have beaten Sri Lanka when defending.
